Had lease from Wm. Hamilton in 1740.  Freeholder 1776. Dead 1787 mentioned in 1740.  I have TENTATIVELY merged this individual with the William who married Mary, and whose descendants settled in Mecklenburg, NC.  They were Covenanters, and these Cathcarts went to the same Church as "our" Winnsboro Cathcarts!
